Special Rewards
Special Rewards is a PTO program used to earn money for John H.
Castle without selling anything or spending money on unwanted items.
Our school has been very successful in raising funds utilizing the
many different Special Rewards programs.
Box Tops for Education
The Box Tops program is our main source of funds for Special Rewards.
John H. Castle receives 10 cents for each Box Top coupon that is
redeemed. Box Tops can be found on hundreds of participating products.
Our students look forward to the exciting bi-annual Box Tops Collection
Contests throughout the school year! The classroom submitting the
most Box Tops coupons will win a classroom party!
Another easy to way to make a difference for our school is to sign
up on the Box Tops website at www.btfe.com.
The website provides valuable coupons, recipes and family activities.
Each new enrollment, earns 5 bonus Box Tops for John H. Castle!
Box Tops for Education Marketplace
Parents, families and friends who are online shoppers can help our
school earn money! Box Tops has partnered with many popular stores
on the world wide web like JC Penney, Target, Barnes and Nobles,
Gap, Best Buy and many more. When you shop through the Box Tops
Marketplace, our school earns a cash donation up to 8% with every
qualifying purchase at no additional cost. Log on to www.btfe.com
and click on the Box Tops Marketplace tab. If this is your first
time visiting the Marketplace, you will need to register at the
home page to become a Box Tops member. When you click on the Marketplace
tab, you will see participating stores. Select your desired store
and shop to help our school earn money.
Target Take Charge of Education
We've discovered a terrific way to raise funds for our school. It's
super-easy, and all you have to do is use your Target® Visa®
or Target® Card. We will receive a percentage of the amount
of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through
the Take Charge of Education® program. It's easy. Just visit
target.com/tcoe, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school.
So if you're going to Target anyway, please consider using your
Target® Visa® or Target® Card. Big thanks to those who
are already doing their part to make a great school even better.
Tyson Project A+
Tyson donates 24 cents for each "A+" label
we collect. Just clip and save the entire Project A+ label from
participating Tyson products. More information can be found at www.tyson.com/projectaplus.
Watch for student incentive programs throughout the year. The labels
can be dropped in the Box Tops collection box by the front office.
Ink Cartridge Recycling
We collect and recycle ink cartridge to earn rewards for our school.
Staples will accept ANY ink cartridge! Our school earns $3 in rewards
for each cartridge redeemed. Please bring in your used ink cartridges
and deposit them in the box located by the front office.
Cell Phone Recycling
Remember to bring in unwanted cell phones for recycling! We can
earn $0.50 to $30.00 depending on the make and model of the phone.
Batteries and phone covers are needed. Additional accessories such
as extra batteries, earpieces or chargers are not accepted. This
opportunity is beneficial to the environment and is another opportunity
for John H. Castle to earn money. Please turn in unwanted cell phones
into the Front Office. The phones do NOT need to be operational
to be recycled.
Schnucks eScrip Customer Cards
By using your Schnucks eScrip Customer Card each time you shop at
Schnucks, you can earn up to 3% of your total purchase amount for
John H. Castle Elementary. Cards may be obtained from Shawn Mundy
or Mary Miller and can be activated by calling 1-800-931-6258 or
online at www.escrip.com/schnucks.jsp
